I went to the Running Room as most small local stores have better knowledge and selection when you have difficulty finding shoes and the reviews seemed decent. Unfortunately, the young lady who was working lacked shoe knowledge and was unable to help me or the customer who came in after me asking questions about getting into running. She couldn't answer his basic questions about the shoes. When the style/brand I initially wanted didn't fit, she seemed to pick a random shoe to recommend. Disappointing that they aren't open Mondays..
Browsing for new runners after a long injury is hard. The sales associate was very patient with me and I learned about toeboxes and rolling heels.
