Once I entered the store, I was asked what I was looking for. Told her I needed a wide fit. Wanted to know my size and width I needed. I wasn't sure, felt stupid. Would have liked to have looked around and check out the clearance. I felt self conscious and out of place. I will not go back there. Found staff snooty. Very uncomfortable. She was talking with staff and had her back to me when I was leaving. The man kept an eye on me like I might steal. Bad experience. Not a fan
Not a runner but I was looking for some comfy shoes to wear at work. The staff member I dealt with was very patient and helpful in grabbing sizes and colours that I wanted to try on. She talked me out of getting ones that I thought were ok and ordered the proper sized ones which arrived within 2 days to my front door. She was absolutely right, love the new shoes! Great shop.
I had a very disappointing experience at The Running Room today. I purchased a running belt from the marathon expo. I tried running with it for about 5 mins and decided it wasn’t for me. I only received one receipt when I made the purchase. The clerk refused to accept my request for a refund because I didn’t have the receipt with the transaction number and because there was dust on the belt (which was from my car and I wiped off).
