I was really looking forward to visiting The Running Room in Sudbury after hearing great things from my mom and wife, who both had excellent experiences getting fitted for new shoes. To the guy who was working on Saturday Feb 8, 2025, thank you! You multitasked between my husband and myself and another customer as well as being able to answer the phone. You were very professional and knowledgeable. I walked in, thinking I knew what i wanted. You listened to my questions and concerns, and gave me advice based off of the information I gave you. As mentioned in the website and reviews from other people who are of not of colour, the store allegedly provides good help to their customers, which is not the case when I went in. The employee did not seem interested to help me at all and he seemed to be distracted. He was on his laptop the whole time. I he gave me a vague recommendation and I bought the shoes, unfortunately it did not work for me. Helping everyone is a basic need for any store and not just people of the same color.
Went into the store yesterday hoping to find Asics that I have worn for YEARS. Tried on a pair and they weren't right. The clerk told me that Asics changed about 3 years ago, yes, I am very overdue for new shoes. I explained that I pronate and I have wide feet and he found me a perfect pair of Brooks. I am so glad that I didn't order on line. Well worth the drive to the store for expert advice. Thanks!
Habituellement, très bien, dernièrement je m'ennuie de la rigueur qu'avait les employés lorsque j'y allais au début. L'homme qui nous a servi il y a quelques jours ne semblait pas plus connaissant que moi pour le choix des souliers. Il ne semblait même pas savoir qu'on pouvait chercher dans la banque de données pour trouver les dernières chaussures achetées dans leur magasin.
