I’ve been looking for a particular pair of shoes and I found them at both Sport Chek and Running Room. I wanted to go with running room to support local, but the woman was so unpleasant on the phone that I’m just going to go with Sport Chek - they were lovely to speak with and very helpful. Customer service matters.
It's good. The guy at the cash register was friendly enough but felt not all that knowledgable in regards to shoes. Good to try on the shoes and buy cheaper on Amazon

My first time, a really good selection. The only employee working seemed like they hated their life and the customer service was minimal. I don't mind as I like to get left alone but I overheard some interactions and felt very bad for the customers who left. I glanced through the reviews and this seems to be a reoccurring issue? Not sure why it hasn't been addressed or fixed yet.
