I am not a runner so when I noticed the store title I thought the store was not for me. However my podiatrist suggested I go there because running shoes are the best for most people who have foot problems. That is me. I need to start out by clarifying that I am not, never was, and never will be a runner. Nonetheless, back in June, I stopped in for what I thought would be a very quick trip to find new walking shoes. After all, going into a normal athletic footwear store, you simply encounter rows upon rows of various shoes—perhaps asking a disengaged associate to find the size you want, “in the back.” And walk out with a decent, but not individualized pair of shoes.
