Big Peach Running Co I really like that these guys put you on a treadmill, videotape your run, and explain to you all the mechanics behind the way you run, the shoes you need, and how they can help you to become a better runner. Convenient location, consistent updates on local races if you're on their email list.
Great selection, friendly folks People here will take the time to fit you with the shoes that are right for you. They have a treadmill/videocam analysis to track you gait and will try to help you. They give discounts to local running club members, sponsor many area races, and offer in-store registration for numerous local races.
Great personal service for quality products Whenever I'm in the market for a new pair of running shoes, I'm extremely lucky to be near Runners Fit. The owner initially helped me discover what the best brand/fit was for me and from there, I now just go in and look at the new model, select a color and he calls when the shoes come in. I have to wait as the selection is a bit smaller than big sports warehouses, but when you can't find anyone to help you at those places - let alone anyone who wants to do anything for their commis... read more
