Unprofessional, Unreliable and Failed to Meet Tax Filing Obligations. We engaged Rudd for tax preparation and planning and had a deeply disappointing experience that ultimately forced us to find a new CPA. Despite submitting all requested documentation well ahead of deadlines, and following up repeatedly, our returns were not filed by the required deadlines. I've worked with them for 5 years now and have never had any issues. I'm shocked at the bad reviews, honestly. I always feel very well taken care of there!
Rudd & Co didn't my taxes for years, then one year when I made very little profit, socked me with $34k in capital gains, no explanation, and I sold nothing that year... They would not work with me to explain the egregious difference, and I had to have someone else fix it.
Overpriced and poor level of service (No service at all really). Paid significantly less the following year with another company and received much higher level of support.
