Still haven't received couch and chair that were ordered in July and were told 8-12 weeks. Also ordered end tables in July and were told they were in. Went tonight to pickup and a note on the door said closed until further notice.
Don't make the mistake of going to this store. We decided to go there to buy a recliner based on the store's flashy store-closing advertisement and to support a local business. The salesperson at the time and the Store manager promised us a delivery due date of within 5 weeks. They assured us multiple times that the delivery wouldn't take more than 3 weeks & here we are in the 16th week & there is no communication from their side to date. Aaron Ruby is a spoiled little third-generation child who ran a once successful Ruby-Gordon furniture business into the ground. He did this by screwing the previous generation’s loyal repeat customers via not honoring warranties, and by mismanaging company money - he didn’t have the business savvy it takes to know how to purchase the right products and inventory. Never buy anything from Ruby Gordon's! They have the worse most expensive warranty. The customer service is the worse. I bought a $7000.00 custom fabric sectional. The warranty company doesn't get back to you if the claim is denied.
The worst experience I've ever had with a furniture company. Months late on delivery, mud was tracked through my home when the furniture was delivered (delivery person could have cared less), the furniture is damaged, I've had to wait several weeks for a service person to even contact me. Still nothing resolved. I strongly recommend not purchasing furniture or doing any business with Ruby Gordon!
