Would not go back – Maybe if you had something really wrong with your eye, he would be good. For contacts/lenses, I would go elsewhere. He tries to get you to spend more when its not necessary and I thought he seemed a little set in his ways. I liked Walmart a lot better for contacts and will stick to them in the future.
BEST IN THE KC AREA – I've used Dr. James Rubin for over 5 years along with my family and friends. NEVER have I or any other people I know ever suggested anything but PROFESSIONALISM. His staff are very freindly and extremely knowledgeable & heplful .I've read the 'review' by a source that is nameless and I beleive that if your dissatisfied with service you should talk straight to the source of those that you have issue with, so the issues can also be solved in a professional manor. Rebuttal of above statement. – In reference to the above letter; it seems as though the validity of the letter must be in question since they did not even sign the statement. We strive to provide the best of health care and quality materials. I can only say the statement is full of untrue statements and seems very fishy they could not even identify themselves. Rubin is excellent! – Doctor Rubin and his staff have always been professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and always have the patient's care as their primary goal. I have recommended this business to my family and friends. Its nice to go to a place that knows your face when you walk in.
NOT HIGH QUALITY – This is the first time I have posted anything but I thought people should know that this place of business was not high quality to me. The staff was very edging and rude during three phone calls and during my visit over a period of two months. I own a daycare so it is very hard for me to get away so I had to pay an assistant to get this appointment taken care of and the doctor didn't spend more than 5 minutes on my exam and just wrote me a prescription then it ended up being wrong.
