This couple called me three days ago, a woman left a voicemail without any contact information claiming to be calling on behalf of the hospital I go to and told me to call my insurance company for a coordination of benefits with no date of service or reference as to what this pertained to. This scamming business called me and began asking for my personal information, when I said I don't know who you are he IMMEDIATELY hung up. When I called back the woman I spoke with was just as short, curt and again asking for information without giving any. When I informed her that this sounded like a scam she was very interested in hanging up. DO NOT GIVE THESE SCAMMERS YOUR INFORMATION. Called claiming to be from the hospital. Left misleading and false voice mails. Never call their number back. Always call whoever they claim to be instead. If you confront them about lying they will deny it loudly.
RTR was calling me to inform me that I had three tickets from 1999 that were unpaid (tail light out, no insurance/reg in car. Yes, tail light was out - got it fixed in a week and sent proof along with insurance/reg which I had accidentally left when I had my car serviced - and yes - they missed the tail light during first service visit). The tickets add up to $90 - RTR is stating I owe $572 with "penalty & interest."
