I stopped by Royce with my baby, who was asleep in the stroller, but the store isn’t stroller-accessible. I called from outside, and the staff went above and beyond — they showed me the chocolate options through the window and even came outside to take my card. Truly outstanding service! Their chocolates are absolutely amazing — we love them! Thank you 🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️
The new location was very clean with well organized displays. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the chocolate flavors and allergen information. The chocolate was fantastic and I would definitely recommend trying a sample as it nothing like the chocolate you typically find in the US. The chocolate is much creamier and has deep flavor.
If you are a true “chocolate lover,” but haven’t tried Japanese chocolate, then, maybe you are just a “chocolate liker.” And, to even claim you’ve “tried Japanese chocolate,” you have to include Royce chocolate… because it’s the best Japanese chocolate… And it’s right here in Boston. Royce chocolate is made in Japan, and contains so much extra milk… It needs to be refrigerated! I bought chocolate for gifts earlier today and Serina was super helpful. She was very nice and professional. On a separate note, I was at the store a couple weeks ago and a different employee was there and she was not very approachable.
I love Royce chocolate! They have a wonderful selection of Japanese chocolates. But the customer service at this store was horrible. The woman working was very rude. When I asked her a question about 2 different types of chocolate, she rolled her eyes and cut me off and said “They’re basically the same.” She did not answer any further questions and walked away from me.
