Everyone that works there is very nice with the exception of one employee whom I will leave nameless and just say she is not very polite or helpful. The property is very nice and well-kept… But that's not my issue; the problem is communication or the lack thereof. We lived here for 18 months and overall enjoyed the community. There were issues with our unit but nothing unbearable b/c we knew our stay was temporary. The management however is terrible and there is only one nice man working at the front office. All the ladies in the office are mean and always seemed bothered when we went in there. I regret EVER moving here. While my time there had ups and downs, it was overall fine. But moving out was the main problem. They charge you so much in bogus fees that you'll be bankrupt by the time you move out. They want to upgrade the apartments for the next people who move in, and they want you to be the one to pay for it. Where do I start!? The customer service is horrible and the staff could care less about its residents. Several apartments on my floor have been broken into and the staff does nothing about it. If you put in a work order, you can forget about it. They take there time when it comes to work orders. The units are very old and outdated and your rent will increase significantly. I agree with everything below, and want to add this. I have had packages stolen off my door step because the office staff refused to take packages from deliveries anymore. The washer in my apartment "ate" all my clothes, and the heater doesn't keep the apt warm at all (but makes plenty of noise to make up for it). When I register complaints, no one answers my emails (especially about crazy neighbors and packages getting stolen). These apartments are fantastic. Aline is the best up front. Her and Jessica are always willing to help. They are very friendly and the apartments are super quiet and very safe. I would recommend to anybody looking for an upper class place to rent.
WILL NOT PAY REALTORS A FEE!!! My mom went there today with clients she had been showing for 2 days and did not realize they do not pay Realtors. Who does that??? Beware!
I lived in this apartment for 1 year from mid 2012 to mid 2013. Pros - Located near and walking distance from schools. This is the primary reason we signed on with them (middle school son can walk home when I can't get back from work at 3:30 pm) even though they were THE most expensive apartment in the area. Lots of positives, but more negatives. Great location! Close to everything! Convenient! But Camden Phipps also has a high crime rate and limited parking, which the management lies about and never tells about. My apartment in Camden Phipps was broken into one year and my motorcycle was stolen another.
