Excellent Service I went to Royal India grocery store in malvern and I had a really good experience there. Everything was so easy to find for me and the staff at royal india really helped me out a lot. The ambiance of the store was really enticing. I recommend everyone to go there and shop for indian groceries.
Best Indian buffet in the area! Better than Himalayan and cheaper too ($7.50). They bring hot bread out to your table! The gulab juman tasted like syrup soaked donut holes but everything else was really tasty. Can't speak to their a la carte menu and in my experience sometimes restaurants that do a primary lunch buffet for their business can have vastly different a la carte stuff. They do have a TV blasting Bollywood and Indo music videos if that matters to you. They also have a fabulous grocery down the road with a mind bog... read more
Royal India is my favorite Sunday buffet brunch destination! I love this restaurant - they separated it from the grocery about a year or so ago and now have a banquet hall. The buffet is great and their a la carte menu is wonderful as well. Vegetables Jalfrezi are yum, and Chicken Tikka Masala is a favorite of my daughter. I LOVE the Bollywood music videos blasting in the backround - just adds to the atmosphere for me! Not everyone's cup of tea, though perhaps.
Best Indian Restaurant On The Main Line Lunch Buffet is Great. Lot's of vegetarian dishes, at least one lamb dish and usually one or two chinese or mexican style dishes. A la Carte dinner entrees might be even better (Can't say for sure as I always order the spectacular lamb saag and can't say if the other dishes are as good). Avoid the market down the road with the same name. It sucks. Usha Market in Great Valley Plaza is the market to go to.

Avoid Parties. – Avoid this place. Though this has a very good party space, the service and timely attendance is lacking. They charge for kids of all ages, first restaurant where they charge for kids below 5. Owner says they count the number by eating not by age, unimaginable CHEAP talk. Try other alternatives deshi village or shahnawaz or any... All my guests were waiting in line for starters to be refilled, Finally I had to ask them to start with the main course after yelling at the owner and staff. You will be having one ... read more

Total waste of money. Might as well drop a load of spices and make better food than what the restaurant served
worst indian restaurant – Food tasted stale, and there was hardly any chicken in the chicken curry. You cannot taste the main ingredients such as chicken or paneer or veggies due to the overwhelming spices and the tiny pieces of meat/paneer. And the dishes are definitely not worth the price tagged. Try deshi village, or shahnawaz.. Much better food and service for almost the same price. We hosted a party for 70 guests. And Royal India charges gratuity of 15%, but there was only one waiter serving all 70 guests, PLUS handling... read more
