Love coming here in winter time when the fireplace is up and running. The sitting and dining area around the fireplace feel very warm and inviting. Also tried out the new menu which I loved. The grilled chicken boscaiola was awesome. Really looking forward to trying some of the other new dishes on menu. Have been here dozens of times and (unlike some other reviewers) have always found the service to be friendly and welcoming. Keep it up.
Disappointing. I saw mash and veg in the tubs in the kitchen and asked if I could have that with battered fish instead of chips and salad. Chef says NO. You can only have mash and veg with schnitzel or steak. I asked again nicely, server asks chef, chef says extra charge. I ask how much, chef makes it up in his head, no eye contact. thy changed their menu and nothing is vegan and there is about 2 sides and 2 salads for vegetarians to eat …. don’t bother coming here. probably the only inner west establishment that doesn’t have any proper vegetarian or vegan options. massive oversight
Very homey vibe, dark and warm with a fire heating the place! Went on the pizza night special was absolutely worth it. Parmi was so good and staff are very nice! Go the Jets !
Lovely Staff here Nice and clean inside I was sitting next to the fireplace having a very nice cold beer What else you need from a pub Highly recommended
