Very helpful at royal! Got amazing college merchandise and was helped by a young employee that was brunette and another young tan brunette employee who was very knowledgeable. I believe they were mother and daughter! I would highly recommend this store
If I could give this place zero stars I would. I was waiting for my daughter earlier today who went into the store by herself. She asked the worker (brown hair, tan, and thin older woman) if they had TCU merch and was escorted to the right area. The display didn’t have her size so she asked if they had a small and was responded to with “does it look like we have a small”? Unacceptable customer service and messy store. Will be telling all the John Jay moms I know not to shop there.
This cozy boutique was such a delight to visit. More importantly, the staff was just as warm and welcoming as the storefront itself. I came in with a special embroidery request that needed a very quick turnaround. While they weren’t able to fulfill my order on such short notice, I truly applaud the Royal team for how they handled the situation. We've lived in this town for over 20 years and were excited to check out this store while walking around. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The store was completely empty (it was daytime), yet the owner or manager didn’t seem the least bit welcoming. Instead of greeting us with any enthusiasm, they dismissively asked what we wanted, making us feel extremely uncomfortable. The attitude felt outright hostile. We left within two minutes—definitely not the experience you'd expect from a local business. Their loss.
They have cute stuff, but it closed earlier than it said it would online and it was disappointing
