I booked through Europcar, their partner, and it said unlimited mileage everywhere. I booked a week in advance and had plans with my family but when I arrived at the location, they were only giving me 200kms since I was a local resident. The employee did not do anything about it and wanted us to cancel the booking. I will never rent a car from Europcar or Routes and will not be recommending them to anyone.
I only have two very small gripes. Number one: I did not know that I needed a high-level piece of secondary identification that could not be a health card (what I usually use), which made scrambling to find it and 3,000 km from home a little bit problematic. But I was able to find a screenshot of an online Visa statement. - this may have been in the booking information, but I did not see it.
