My flight got delayed and they gave my car to someone else but still charged me. Will not issue refund. I landed and had no car even though I already paid. NEVER use this company.

I’ve never had such a frustrating experience. I reserved a car through Carrentals, but when I arrived at the pickup location, I was told I needed to provide flight tickets—which I didn’t have, as I’m a Chicago local resident. Apparently, they only rent vehicles to travelers flying into Chicago, and locals are not eligible. This important requirement was not mentioned during the booking process, and it should have clearly asked for flight information before confirming the reservation. Their link sent me on highway behind them and had to drive 20 miles out of my way plus tolls and missed my flight and cost me $200 to get a new flight. They said not their problem you could looked up our address then way say use link? Rough drive very impersonal people. Stay away! Not worth the cheaper cost Wow! there response is worse than their service! Can not get a hold of customer service not through phone or email they NEVER answer.
