**** WARNING **** Never Buy Anything Made By Ashley Furniture and Never Buy Furniture From Ashley. They use a Bait & Switch Scam to deliver Junk. I bought furniture from Ashley Homestore (AHS) which is owned by Dufresne Spencer Group (DSG). As you know, I paid good money for New, Undamaged Furniture. DSG showed up to deliver the furniture. Items marked 50% off and 75% off are not what they seem to be. Just one example of what happened on my last visit -- A box of note cards marked 50% off had a price tag of $2.99. Upon coming home, I took the price tag off. Under that tag was the price of $2.29. Under the second tag and printed on the box back and front was the price $1.99. With my "50% off" I paid 1.49---a savings of 50 cents or 25% off not 50% off!!! Bad customer service can ruin one’s experience, and that is exactly what just happened at At Home on 291. I understand that it is Black Friday, but that is no excuse for rude employees. Lucia, our cashier, was nothing but rude, combative and disrespectful. I could not stand to hear her talk back to my mother, who was making a purchase of hundreds of dollars, the way she did.
