Loan Officer Wade Burke was the only good thing about this lender. He was kind, informative, and assisted with our prequal, loan process. However, the company in general is terrible at communication. Requested documentation had to be sent to numerous individuals, the lender never communicated with our realtor and rarely contacted our closing attorney. We were unable to close per our inital contract time despite providing everything requested immediately. I recommend Wade Burke, but caution consumers about Freedom Mortgage.
They do mostly of VA loans and they are based out of New Jersey.
They did nothing but drag my daughter through the mud for months with the process of a loan. She had to beg to get information from her loan officer Latoya Barrett. Even then the information given was typically lies. Everything she said contradicted the next and accused my daughter of lying. Whenever my daughter called to speak to Latoya about all this misinformation and delays she received nothing but attitude. THE WORST EVER.This Company is perhaps the worst Mortgage company I have ever been in business wit in all of my 66 years. Their Customer Service could not be less helpful or less knowledgable. I have spoken to at least thirty different representatives from at least three different departments to try and fix something that was and continues to be their mistake. The only reason I gave them 1 start is because it wouldn't post without a rating and they don't supply a minus rating! DO NOT USE THEM.
