We ordered a table from Ross Rustic tables on June 7th.
We were told it would be delivered in August.
They got behind and scheduled delivery for Sept 9th.
The shipper lost a 500 lb table and it was finally delivered on Sept 28th.
In the interim, it was damaged.
We tried to work with Ross to get it repaired to no avail.
Even though they settled with the shipper they were not willing to
put in the effort to find a repair facility that they thought was reasonable or
to ship a new top to us.
We put them in touch with several places which had good reviews locally, but Ross did not want to stand behind the repairs and decided to take the table back.
They had someone pick it up on December 2nd, so we are back where we
started in June.
It appears to me that the issue is that Ross does not want to pay for insurance on their shipments, but when you self insure you have to be willing to take a hit now and then.
If you want to do business with someone who stands behind their products, look elsewhere
