I had the absolute worst experience at this bank today. My wife. and i went to deposit $7,600, and to our shock, the employee processing out transaction claimed we only deposited $7,100. That's $500 unaccounted for! When we tried to address the discrepancy, unhelpful, and flat-out refused to provide us with his name. The lack of professionalism and transparency was unacceptable. I don't know why I stay with this bank. This is the ONLY place you can review them. They have no social media presence and their tech support is comical. They've been down for OVER a week. I cant log into my account on my phone or online. I waited 55 min on hold for them to tell me to "keep trying because we upgraded our systems". This place is a joke. Stay away from this bank. If you have a debit card, you will get charged $1.50 for simply using that card as debit. So every time you use your debit card as debit, you are going to get feed. Whenever I go to NYCB or I speak to a representative over the phone, I immediately regret it because of how rude they are. The workers have horrible attitudes for no reason. If there was a way to give this bank no stars or even negative stars, I would have done that. Switching banks was a very smart decision.
