Buyer beware! I met attorney Richard Gantt to get a second opinion on my child custody case. I thought he would be aggressive and well matched against my ex-wife's attorney. He did explain my options and was willing to work on my case. However, when asked what his fees were, he refused to tell me. The next day I called and asked his boss to email me the fee info. He wanted $25,000 just to undertake the case, another $10k for alternative resolution disputes, another $10k for depositions, another $10k for a child custody evalu... read more
Buyer beware. This is the seat of greed. I drove 600 miles round trip to meet with a lawyer I thought was competent. I have a contentious child custody case, but already divorced. (This is a divorce law firm) All I needed was visitation and joint custody. The consultation went well. In fact, I considered hiring him until I asked what he charged.
