I’ve had a love one in residence since 1/2025. Never experienced a nursing home before. After 3 consecutive falls, while in there for rehab, she’s never been able to return home. The conditions continue to be deplorable, even after several promises were made by owners. Now, I and my family are suffering with Scabies, received while visiting my loved one. As of March 2026, my mother has been at this facility for almost a month now, but They are just too short staffed. They need more help. They only have one maintenance man. There is no code to get through the door to visit your family, so you could be stuck outside being on the door for at least 20 mins until someone comes to let you inside. My father was a patient at Stone Mountain Run. My father entered with the prior owners. Totally horrible experience. Roach infested room. Dirty rooms, my father’s teeth were never brushed. Had to purchase new clothes and blankets every month. Most importantly my dad went into the hospital this past December. He was severely malnourished and dehydrated according to ER doctors. He lost so much weight in the hospital for 4 days and died. Please do not put your loved ones in this facility!

Although things got off to a rocky start, things have improved a lot. The pills are with meals now, the NAs help my wife get dressed and undressed for bed, the therapy has increased so that my wife will be able to come home again soon, she loves the home cooked meals here and her laundry is not misplaced. They’re try real hard to please her. They also are doing the best they can under difficult times in getting my wife to dialysis.
