I cannot say enough wonderful things about the care my sister received during her rehabilitation stay at this facility. From the moment she arrived, we were treated with professionalism, kindness, compassion, and genuine concern. The Administrator was absolutely amazing. Stone Mountain Run has gone above and beyond for my family member…would definitely recommend this facility
This place is horrible. They don't take care of the patients. They leave your love one in urine and feces for hours and always making excuses about they have to find help to change them. Administrator and DON always avoiding your calls and emails. I had to purchase disposable bed pads because her aide asked me to buy her some because they didn't have briefs for her. My sister was admitted for rehab due to a lengthy hospital stay. From July 9th until today(July 27) they still haven't gotten her up out the bed for rehab. They ... read more
Trust me, anywhere but this makeshift of a short term stay rehabilitation and nursing home stay. My father got transferred here on Tuesday, my sister had suggested a chest X-ray to check for pneumonia cause he sounded gurgling and congested, they gave a paper the following day starting no pneumonia. Got a phone call at 1am following Saturday saying they were moving him because his oxygen saturation was really low, we asked where they were moving him to, and the response they didn’t know… Emory hospital later at 5:40am called... read more
Let me start by saying the aides are caring and patient, but understaffed. The administration is TOTALLY inept. There is no support to families, no updates from doctor, no communication with doctor at all, nurses do not relay messages to the doctor (is there a doctor?), no communication with family whatsoever regarding infection and changes to care, lying to family members saying we were notified when we were not, no care planning meeting after 4 months, referral and visit to outside doctor was canceled due to lack of VA ref... read more
