I think it's nice that this facility provides help for Men with felonies in their past, most Nursing Homes don't, making it very hard for families of these Men to find proper care for their loved ones.
Half of the residents at roselawn are diabetics, but the food from the kitchen is NOT diabetic friendly! On the contrary, this nursing Home actually creates diabetes, they say they follow State guidelines concerning respecting the residents, however certain amounts of employees talk to the residents in very disrespectful manners, and when the residents respond likewise, they get chastised by Senior Staff members. There ain't much good that I can say about it.
My brother is currently living there and though I have not been there physically because of distance and health issues of my own I still have a opinion. When my brother was put there he had a checking account with a balance $2500 if I remember correctly and so I was afraid because he wasn’t able to go to the bank I gave Roselawn all his information and they were able to get his money sent there. They told me he needed to start spending his money, the social worker there was the one who would help him spend it. That being sai... read more
