Marisa at Roots Medicine is the most caring, attentive and wise beyond her years acupuncturist I’ve been to. Under her care I was able to return to a normal sleep pattern after a very stressful life event. Marisa is truly a gem in the holistic care world.
My experience in dealing with Marisa was a complete delight in this day and age of having to do everything in long distance fashion. She made sure that what I ordered was sent immediately and for the best price she could find. She went above and beyond in helping me and answered all my questions. I went to Marisa in July (2020) after receiving news that I have presumed endometriosis. I loved her whole body approach (diet, exercise, acupuncture, etc.) to treating the symptoms to help lessen the pain of endo. In August, I was told by a fertility doctor that I would need surgery and then IVF if I wanted to have children. With Marisa's helped I was pregnant in less than 2 months! She is amazing and I highly recommend her.

I have had migraines and neck pain for years. I have tried everything including Botox shots! Nothing really stuck. Then I read about Marisa and Roots Medicine Acupuncture and I thought I would give it a shot. After the 2nd treatment I noticed a difference. Now 3 weeks later and I have not had a headache! This is the longest I’ve ever been without a migraine!! I am so happy with how Marisa cares for you when you’re there. It’s been truly an amazing experience. I would recommend 500x over!
