Ed is the best! He gave us a tour of the farm, the process and a complimentary V60. A hidden gem worth visiting.
Authentic Hawaiian coffee farm. Felt like we were going back in time a bit rough but well worth the trip. Hand-picked and we felt the coffee was incredible as 100% Kona. Ed the owner help desk in educated us about how to get the best flavor out of your beans is to leave them till they're fully ripe and sweet and then pick. Of course it's very labor-intensive versus a lot of commercial coffee farms that pick mechanically now.
I don't leave reviews often, but decided to leave one for Rooster Farms Coffee after reading all the one-star reviews. First and most important, the Kona coffee is really great and much much cheaper compared to Kona coffee sold by most retailers. We had a hard time finding the place because GPS took us to a wrong road. The owner was very responsive on the phone. This is not a fancy/cozy cafe if that's what you are looking for.
