RecommendedShelah and Tom are great hosts. This is our 3rd year in a row staying there. Cabins are lovely and the decor is so cool. Perfect stay, but not long enough. 😁. Hope to be back next fall.
Small, quaint, friendly owners, always pretty with trees for shade in the summer. Not paying for something that we don't need.
Our stay at The Roost was amazing! Site #3 allowed us to watch beautiful sunsets and deer grazing in the field. The grounds were pristine. Our friends who stayed in cabin #3 felt the same. Tom and Shelah were very welcoming.
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful quiet campground! Our cabin was cozy and very clean! It was close to most of the attractions too.

water at every spot, cleanest campsite I've ever seen. Gorgeous scenery.
You can't beat the location of The Roost Resort. Every stay has been great. This is now our go to place when we visit the Black Hills. Fantastic owners and cute cabins. Just perfect all around!
cute camp... there's cabins tent sites and even fifth wheel n motorhome spaces.. barely got set up and seen deer 🦌 in the field by our site.. Shelah was great needed an extra night...no problem
Lovely views paired with secluded and quiet location. Stayed in the campground but the cabins looked very nice! Prices were reasonable.
