This is a great place. Never knew it was here and how it helps so many. It’s in need of funding to help preserve the programs that help so many folks with special needs find careers.
My parents sent me here against my will from August 2011-December 2013 and I didn’t learn anything useful to get the career my parents promised me. They lied to me saying I would be a successful doctor for going here. I don’t know anyone that has anything positive to say about this horrible place. One guy took ya’ll’s Fake IT classes and can’t get a job in IT. All who have IP meetings with their high-school kids transitioning to adulthood— DO NOT send them here. Just don’t. ZERO of the friends I have who went here after high school have positive stories. They were bullied. They received ZERO real-life skills. Let me be very clear: The staff are wonderful. The other students are not. The peers are beyond unspeakably awful. Most of the staff at the place were very unprofessional and didn’t do anything to help me with my disabilities. They just sat around and criticized me for the littlest stuff. I felt like it was a popularity contest on who succeeded the most.
