Absolutely horrible. Hard pressed to even show up for a court date, let alone no responses to voicemail or texts. Feel like he has no heart in what he does and treats a client as a number and a paycheck. Would recommend anyone use Stephanie McKeon who puts her heart and soul into it and treats you like a human being and not just there to collect a fee.
Absolutely the worst. This public pretender is a joke. Law malpractice is his specialty! I went to his office with proof. He shunned me away. He also blocked my number when I never bothered him for months until days before my court date. Dog water of a lawyer. Go with Beverly Cook. You can even request more time after the first continuance, for 6-8 more weeks to help pay for a private attorney. This guy will make sure you lose.
Mr. Cowart was very knowledgeable, caring and passionate about my case. He did an outstanding job. I would recommend him .
As a legal guardian, you are issued responsibilities. My son is mentally disabled; is not being properly medicated while there. This attorney, who knows nothing of his disorders, generalizes everyone into the same basket. Was asked to call him by my son due to depression. Had been clean for two years, but relapsed. When I was called to come get him, I refused and told them to put in jail. We even have a state forensic psychiatric evaluation showing he is not competent to stand trial unless properly medicated.
