My husband and I have been going to Ron & Associates for a few years now. Haven't had a problem until this year. We definitely won't be back. I'll also will be reporting them, especially Leah to BBB. I will also be submitting a complaint to the Ohio Department of taxation and to the Ohio Attorney General. I recommend other people that have had issues to do so as well. I have been in a battle with Canton city over fines and penalties for not submitting a tax estimate for 2024 and not paying those quarterly taxes. I was unaware that that needed to be done. I paid the full amount at the end of the year. I had my 2023 taxes filed at Ron Anderson and Associates. The person I spoke to at the Canton city tax department said the person filing my taxes should have been aware of this as I had a job that did not take out city taxes. As Many others, I got my taxes done done here again this year. I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING HERE! Seen in the paper last year **Ron committed tax fraud and is in federal jail.** I got my taxes done this year February 7th to be exact. They told me they couldn't E-file but would mail everything in, I agreed and went on my way. Called February 21st not filed, and March 7th (now 1 month later) my documents still weren't filed! We have been going to Ron and Associates for 20+ years. Very disappointed in their service this year. Went there on February 27th to file our taxes. Leah was our tax preparer. She said that they could not e file until next week when they got their number from the IRS. She charged my 180.00 and it took less than 30 minutes. I called several times over the weeks and no one would return my call. On Saturday March 29 I finally talked with the receptionist, who was very rude.
