Quality Lumber I had a good experience with Rogue Pacific Lumber, I told them what I wanted and how I planned on using the lumber and they helped choose the best and cheapest lumber for my project. Upon arriving at Pacific Lumber to pick up the lumber, it was sort of a hassle. I had to wait in my car about about 10-20 minutes waiting for everything to get sorted out, so, that was unpleasent, but overall, I got great lumber and a great price. PROS: Helpful Service, Quality Lumber, Good Price CONS: Waiting for your lumber to be loaded onto your truck can take a long time

I special ordered two beams for a exposed beam patio cover. 6”x8”x16’ kiln dried no. 1 grade. The cost was just over $400. One beam is perfect, one has a good sized split that runs the entire length and goes through in a couple places. I went back and asked if I could exchange the split beam. Nope. You might think they would have considered that I still need to buy eight more beams and over 300sq/ft of lumber for the roof before they denied my request to exchange one beam. Maybe I’m wrong and the split beam should be acceptable, but I sure feel like I got short end of that deal.
