This place is a little above my price range. A very knowledgeable gentleman named Jim Hines was quick to adjust his suggestions accordingly. Equally quick to assess my size and needs. He explained that I required a slightly smaller size than I had been wearing and he was right. After some alterations my beautiful suit fits like a glove and makes me feel fantastic. Top shelf, white glove shopping at it's very finest. I needed trousers fitted and hemmed same day for a funeral. Cheri Hines provided perfect service and between her and the tailoring staff, my order was ready at 4pm. If you want no pressure, complete customer service, Rodes is the place for you. Bravo. Absolutely outstanding experience! I’ll be honest, I have no style and very little shopping experience, but from the second I hit the door everyone in Rhodes made me feel welcome and completely comfortable. I left feeling amazing with a great new outfit, and they tailored everything by the next day to ensure I looked my best for an event. I could write a book about how great this place is, but, in short, I’m not sure you could change a single thing to make it better.
This is the highest quality clothing store in Louisville - Kentucky too - (and the most expensive) for a reason. Every garment is custom tailored, or even made for you and they're happy to adjust any garment from them for free - for your whole life. They only carry the highest quality and most exclusive and rare lines of clothing as well. But this is all at a price. You should only consider shopping here if you'd consider dropping a hundred or more dollars on a t shirt or a thousand or so on a suit.
