I had an absolutely delightful experience at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, and it’s an easy 5 stars from me! Walking into the shop, I was greeted by the irresistible aroma of fresh chocolate and a display that looked like a sweet-lover’s dream. In the past I’ve really liked this place but the last time I went it was quite unfortunate for a number of reasons. I went with my family to get ice cream. The selection was poor, the service was rather rude and unfriendly and when I did get my ice cream, supposedly butter pecan, it tasted like vanilla with some pecans in it. My sister also said her salted caramel didn’t taste like salted caramel. I ordered a single scoop waffle cone and a kids cone and it cost over $10 for extremely subpar ice cream. They offer a large variety of treats and everything we had was delicious!
Cashier was unable to complete a simple credit card transaction or be kind on the phone when we asked if they were open due to a padlock on the door. Was hoping to get several items before we left for the airport but she was unable to provide any service since she wasn’t able to operate a cash register. This wasn’t our first stop here but sad we will never stop here again.
