The soothing sound of the water fountain outside really sets a relaxing tone before you even step through the doors. It is such a bright, welcoming space with plenty of cozy spots to curl up with a book or get some work done on the quiet upper floor. The only thing that could be better was the long wait at the bar during peak hours, but the staff is so friendly that it makes the visit worth it. This has easily become one of my favorite local spots to clear my head and find something new to read.

I really enjoyed checking out the trails at this park, especially since they lead right out into the open space area which makes for a great morning walk. The basketball and sand volleyball courts seem really well-maintained, and it was nice to see plenty of covered tables available if you're planning on grilling. One small thing to keep in mind is that there aren’t any restrooms on-site, so it’s definitely a good idea to plan ahead for that. No staff work at this location. However, there is a kiosk type of machine that you can purchase tickets from for departing trains.
