On a recent Saturday morning, I went to the Rocklea Weekend Markets. Parking inside was scarce so we had to look elsewhere. As fate would have it, we found a park outside the doors of Rocklea Meat Market. I hadn't settled on a local butcher so I was curious about the meats and other products they are offering. Finally we found a good butcher. We were sick and tired of paying for the second rate meat at the local big chain supermarket stores and there are no decent butchers left in our local area. Rocklea Meat Market is worth the drive for us to get top quality meat at prices as good or better than the local supermarkets. There’s a huge range including frozen seafood and some game meats too.
I was interested in this shop. I read the reviews. I looked at the photo's & enlarged them so I could see better. To be honest, being at Rocklea Markets, I expected better pricing than that. Pricing is important to me & this shop is no cheaper than everywhere else. I don't think I will bother.
Visited store this morning, staff were very friendly and helpful. Large variety of meats and store was very clean.
Happened to accidentally find this butchers today as I was passing through! Absolutely lovely staff they are all so accommodating! Prices absolutely fantastic! And they happen to have the best extra lean mince! For a bargain price! We are not local but I’m happy to travel to purchase from these guys and girls 👌even got my pooches some snacks 🐾
