I was doing business with Mr. Cooper for years with no problems then in 2025 in the month of July Mr. Cooper merge with Rocket that’s when everything went down the hill. What happened is that I had direct payments every month from my Chase Bank to Mr. Cooper and starting in July Mr. Cooper took a payment and Rocket Mortgage took another payment at the same time every month for about 5 months. I am writing about not only 1 but 2 different experiences I had with Carlo Gaspar at Rocket Mortgage, who has been a TRULY INCREDIBLE partner during both transactions. My first transaction didn't go well purely because RedFin and the seller did not do their due diligence when posting the house and the house could not close for us because of it, after months of confusion and having the rug pulled from underneath us. Carlo was my loan officer and helped with the purchasing of my first home he made every thing so simple and easy. He helped go through every detail with me and whenever I had a question he had an answer. When purchasing a home there is a lot to process but Carlo was on top of everything and was always communicating back to me. I would definitely recommend him to anyone that is looking to purchase a home.
