Great experience over the winter period whilst I was in Custer. The owner is a great guy and besides a good conversation also provided good advice and help for my purchases. Would always recommend to go :)
7/26/25 Excellent selection, nicely organized. My questions were answered. Very reasonable prices. Hard to find pieces. I love this shop! Lovely jewelry collection. I found some cool gifts as well and a mineral I’m going to have made into a necklace.
This is THE place to get petrified wood. Big pretty slices for reasonable prices. The shop pupper is also the very best boi!
Told us they were closing up shop but it was 2:30 in the afternoon. Other people we allowed to go in. Pretty sure we were told that cuz we had a stroller. Never going here again
Extremely reasonable prices, and South Dakota rocks are all displayed in one wall so that you can identify those easily if you're wanting to buy something that came locally. The gentleman behind the counter and possibly the owner was very knowledgeable and friendly and was very helpful in explaining where things had come from and how they were mined. Overall, it was a really good experience shopping there which is surprising for any business that is on a tourist strip.
