This place is great! Absolutely worth going a little out of my way for on a long road trip :) The owners are super nice and helpful, and I was genuinely surprised at how many specimens they had on display. Looks unassuming from the outside but very densely packed, and not just rocks. Loved it!
If you're in the area this quirky little museum is worth a visit! Lots to see, not just rocks, so give yourself plenty of time. Very nice people and learned a few things!
Took my wife and we both had a blast. I'm a museum nut and I loved it. I'm happy our guide was able to get my wife excited and enjoying herself. Will return again next time I'm in the area
Highly recommend this, pun intended, hidden gem. The people who ran it were amazing, passionate, and knowledgeable. They had so much care put in so that kids and adults both would enjoy it.
Highly recommend to call before to make an appointment for the wonderful course they offer for a very reasonable price. My middle school and elementary school girls both enjoyed the class. We have been to so many big science museums but their class was so interactive and amazing. My girls said they want to give 1000 stars. We will definitely be back for more classes!!
