Last year my wife and I bought a pair of cheap E-bikes, RCC has now (twice) adjusted a couple of minor issues right then and there. So thankful to have this service in Nanaimo.
I have shopped and had my bike serviced here for years. Today was the last day. I just spent over $500 on my service and was going to buy new gortex pants and shoe covers. But after the interaction I had I totally changed my mind. The tech was super judgmental about my bike’s brand, he lectured me, talked down to me and really made me feel like a POS. That really isn’t somewhere I want to spend my money. I was quite literally shocked at what was happening.
Just bought my first electric bike. The salesman Aidan listened to what I wanted and what I thought was important. He asked the right questions to help me nail down my choice. I just rode this little beauty home and am so happy. Definitely the perfect bike for me. Thanks with your advice on the gear as well.
I've dealt with RCC on many occasions and always had great service but recently had an especially good experience with them. They managed to convince my bike manufacturer to replace a frame I damaged, for free. J.L in particular was great to deal with. He provided good communications through the entire process. An additional thanks to the staff member who let me sift through their parts bin to find some bar mounts.
