Good store, great veggies, salad bar. This store is located where my grandparents had part of their farm back in the 20's and 30's. The store is large, well-lite, they have a great salad bar, and their staff is always friendly. They used to offer double coupons and they didn't give you dirty looks for using coupons! PROS: Great positive store! CONS: none
A touch of class for your grocery shopping! Roche Bros is a grocery store with a touch of class. The good quality produce and fresh meat, to the world-wide range of wines make shopping here quick and easy. The employees are polite and helpful, and everyone does their best to make your trip to the grocery store a pleasant experience. Right down to the employee who takes your carriage to your car for you, and the sign above the exit which says "No tipping, please - it is our pleasure to serve you!"
Saving at Roche Bros Been going to this store since the remodeling has been completed and it is great. Prices are high but I found that jumpstartshopping.com shows the real deals every week and I take advantage of them saving big on quality food. Friendly workers and great specials
prices woah This is a college trapped grocery store so they are capable of charging higher prices but the quiality is lower than epected. The selection and seafood is the worst but the produce and fruits are the best. I do love how they take your carts out to your cars for you. PROS: Service CONS: Selection
An unpleasant experience... Roche Bros. seems to be run by college age employees that do not know or do not care to know about the store's inventory. If you ask for assistance, you're treated as if someone is doing you a favor. On more than one occasion the produce section has had old, wilted or even moldy vegetables. Great local Market I frequently hear the statement that Roche Bros. is a very nice store bur the prices are higher than elsewhere. I have made comparison shopping trips to other stores in the area (Shaws,Stop and Shop and Trucchi's) and I have found some items that are indeed a little lower, however I have found other items( I am not counting sale items at any of the stores) that are significantly more expensive.
