The change from langensteins to Robert’s kept most of what was good about the old shop but brought in a bit more variety particularly in their hot offerings (rotisserie for example). They have occasional specials as well with decent sale prices on fresh meats. Most of the staff stayed and the hours expanded a little
Roberts bought and painted this neighborhood classic from a nostalgic red to a hospital white. I used to go for breakfast weekly, where it was $6 per lb, now they nearly doubled price to $10 per lb for some grits and eggs.
Beautiful transition and another welcome addition to the neighborhood.
