Very unhelpful staff and lack of compassion or concern for their customers. I would highly recommend using a bank with more concern for customer service and who will not drown you in fees. I have paid almost $600 in fees between my checking and line of credit this year alone, and they have not offered to reverse any, even during economic crisis. STEER CLEAR!
The worst banking experience I have had in 54 years of banking with an banking institution. I have had the wrong information provided constantly. I currently have two active accounts which I keep getting nickeled and dime with charges and fees. The overdraft coverage program is a joke and the program was not explained correctly with the representative that I sign up with. Called to dispute some transactions instead got argued with and got the feeling, Cash, was just too lazy to do her job that day. Someone needs to address her attitude and how not to talk to customers. Anywho, jokes on ya'll moved all my accounts ✌️ Side note: Your debit cards are absolutely terrible. They wear our super easy and the numbers rub off. Only way to get another is to go into a branch, how convenient!
RecommendedI have had several bad experiences with this company and am glad I no longer bank with them. Their practices make no sense. I have never had a company refuse to reach out to customers as much as robins. I paid my last payment on a car loan and paid it a few weeks early. I paid the amount the app told me was due for the last payment. No one called, emailed or wrote me a letter. RecommendedWorking with Robins FCU has been the absolute BEST banking experience I have ever had. My favorite part about my experience with them are the people that work at the 2 branches that I frequent. Athens & Watkinsville branches house some of the best people! I feel like I'm visiting with friends every time I walk into either branch and I cannot say that about any bank that I have been with in the past. I'll be a member for life!

Very unhelpful staff. Their loan payment system is a joke. If you request a loan payoff (which will be higher than the posted amount) and pay that amount that same day and the confirmation says it will process that day, the payment will not post until the next day because you are making a payment higher than the principal so it has to be manually entered. I would never be comfortable letting someone who publicly posts such unprofessional and downright disgusting things handle my money. Now considering some of what she’s posting is racist and also attacking a sexual assault survivor, I would highly suggest that no POC or SA survivors bank here as you may be publicly shamed online later. I would not recommend doing business, especially considering the very distasteful and disrespectful posts one of your Employees has been posting on her PUBLIC Facebook Page. (Ivanna Ake is her Name.) Professionalism isn’t in her Ethnics, could definitely use a lesson in being a decent Human Being before dealing with the Public, especially at a Bank.
On top of the comments regarding poor handling of services - keep in mind that some employees at this establishment are of poor quality as well. Unfortunate that a credit union “for the community” likes to have people who shame, victim-blame and socially harass assault survivors. So this is who represents Robins Financial online publicly? It’s going to be a no for me.
