Sometimes you get good care, but most of the times you get really incompetent people working. This is a huge issue with RWJ in general but I will only speak to my experiences from June of 2026 - July 2026. I had came into the emergency room and was diagnosed with a hernia, went to the doctor they provided me and this was the first issue. I had a recent surgical procedure on 7/22/26. I received outstanding care from Yaritza at the admitting station. Also from Courtney CMA, Gina RN, and Renee, the Same Day Surgery Team. I would also like to thank Stephanie, RN in the Recovery room. Also the surgical team that attended to me. Their patience in answering all of my concerns and their care will always be remembered.
Currently In This hospital with mother for chest pains, no sleep in 5 days, blurry vision etc. we've been here for 3.5 hrs already and she doesn't even know who her nurse is because they haven't came in to see her yet. But in the hallways worried about putting in to become geriatric certified
