I visited Doherty Library during the summer break. It’s quiet and pleasant, and I was able to find parking under a shaded tree. If you don’t have a UST ID, you’ll need two forms of identification to enter. While the sign mentions "two government-issued IDs," it actually means: One government-issued ID such as a driver’s license, passport, or state ID Plus one additional form of ID, such as a student ID from another school, a local library card, a Friends of the Library (FOL) card(you can buy with $30) or a company ID
