Hiring Mike Nichols was the biggest mistake of my life. He didn't know the details of the case, was more focused on his golf game, and convinced me to plead down to a misdemeanor for something I didn't do. I think going to trial was too much for him bc he wouId have to drive back and forth between Lansing and Ann Arbor. I could go on, but he even gave me a young attorney to represent me when I was paying for his expertise. Do not work with Nichols Law Firm. I will regret working with him for the rest of my life.
The worst attorney I’ve ever had. He did no due diligence. He told me I had no options other than taking a deal that has ruined my life. He only cares about himself and getting things done as fast as possible. I am livid that I stupidly trusted him with my life. He didn’t tell me anything about what he found. He didn’t listen to any of evidence I gave him; and if the man actually watched the body cam footage he would’ve caught all the lies that should’ve never led to me being arrested — it was a false arrest. You sent an innocent man to prison under political pressure! You lied about DNA evidence and you allowed the State to present questionable DNA and had a man who has never being accused of anything in his life to go to prison for 30 yrs all because of your negligence and lackluster representation! I pray God will expose you all for the damage you have done to this man! First time arrested/accused and bc he wouldn't take a plea deal and maintained his innocence, you threw him to the wolves!
