These are wonderful, caring people! My father-in-law recently had a fall and damaged his glasses. Out of convenience we dropped into McCandless to see if they could help. Not only were they kind to him but they immediately fixed his glasses and sent us on our way without a charge. We need more small businesses like this in our world and if you need an optician, you can't go wrong with McCandless.
I live in Buckingham, PA and travel to Patrick and Nancy for so many reasons. Just the best people, kind, patient, knowledgeable and they really care about their work and their customers. Always a great experience. Easily a 5 star rating for McCandless Opticians and family
I’ve lived down the street from this business for the past 20 years, yet had never had the need to visit. That changed this past Monday when I rushed in without an appt to request help with a badly damaged pair of frames. Patrick was so kind and patient, even calling the ophthalmologist to confirm some details before immediately replacing the broken frames on the spot! I sincerely appreciated his help and will definitely return in the future.
One of the best opticians of all times! My entire family has been with Mr. McCandless for over 45 years and his customer service is impeccable. He always goes above and beyond! In all these years, with all these complicated glasses wearers, we have never had a problem. I highly recommend McCandless Opticians!
If you are tired of the chain Opticians and opticians beholden to the eye doctor office they share, I would strongly recommend trying Robert McCandless Opticians. we stopped there while shopping for new glasses and he spent a lot of time and expertise helping us understand the issues - even after we told him we were already under contract to buy glasses at the other place.
