Everyone writing about this car transportation company on the wrong website. This is a freight company that doesn't transport cars at all but LTL freight. They are lower cost with similar if not better service as any other LTL freight company.
Scheduled job with RoadRunner. Their transporter missed the first pickup date. RR had no knowledge of this nor any idea when the pickup would be. They said they would call me back with an update and never did. The transporter missed the second pickup date as well. At this point I just canceled the job. Do not engage RoadRunner their sole job is to manage the transport and they have no idea how to do that. Their customer service is worthless.
Good for a few months, then just terrible. We did weekly LTL shipments with Roadrunner. About 10 went smoothly, then all of a sudden they started losing part of the shipment. Three in a row were partially lost, and two of them were damaged. A representative told us we will definitely be reimbursed if they couldn't locate our lost boxes, so we continued using them. Giving this a one star and that’s a lot!! Do not, I repeat do not use this company!!! Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service. Car was delivered 8 days after it was promised. Had no communication whatsoever. Was sent an email with tracking so I could track it and nothing was ever updated on there. Charged $200 more than was quoted once they found a driver. BAD-They offered me a price and a date, and then had to reschedule at a higher price even though we had a deal. BETTER- After we canceled the deal, they DID send back payment quickly.
