Stay Away! Very unprofessional and fraudulent dealer. I put a deposit down for a large $1,800 "kiln dry" slab, rented a cargo van and drove over from mainland to pick it up. The first red flag was the slab was outside under a tarp. They loaded it into the van with forklift so I didn't inspect until later only to find: 1. It wasn't the same slab. 2. It was soaking wet on the bottom. 3. It was rotted through and full of soft spots. 4. It was not kiln dry (over 20% MC on bottom, 11-12% on top) 5. It was infected with bugs (ants... read more
I ordered a huge load of clear, knot free, yellow cedar and gave a $4000 deposit and Rick delivered 7 pieces out of clear wood and 36 pieces of knotty yellow cedar out of a total of 400 pieces that were to be delivered. He promised a delivery in full the following week and never showed up. Weeks later now and he refuses to refund my deposit and pick up his knotty lumber and tells me to sell his wood to recoup my losses.
