Most pathetic example of a senior care facility. Healthcare is to give care for ones health. There system is set up to be organized disobedience, where the executive staff are so incompetent they do not provide the adequate staff to time manage care, supplies and prescriptions are forgotten about. Multiple tenants are left uncheck after fallen at late hours of the night. My MIL loved it at Riverwood, and we were very happy to have her there. But when I tried to get other parents into the facility, I was told that a room would be available on a certain date, and then was ghosted. No emails or phone calls were returned. In both cases, I had to find another facility...much to my disappointment. Not sure why this happened, but it sure created complications for me. So if you plan to put a parent here, be forewarned that you might have your plans in place, and need to change them.

the staff at Riverwood are not educated enough to deal with the medical issues that may arise within your parents health in their later years. Often symptoms are overlooked at this home. If your parent is not all there cognitively, and cannot do their own ADL’s, try a different home. Riverwood is not equipt for their aging population. And Ruth Green talks about patients.
