We called Riverwalk Landing RV park home for 6 months. We enjoyed our stay. The pads are paved with plenty of space for two vehicles. The park is connected with a 55+ community and your stay includes usage of the amenities including clubhouse with full kitchen, pool, game room with TV, gym, bathrooms with showers and pickleball. There is also laundry and bathrooms with shower on the backside of the office for RV guests. All amenities and bathrooms are very cleaned and well kept. We are currently staying in one of the cottages while my parents are on an RV site. Pros: Good location New appliances Nice community fire pit Price Cons: Ants all over kitchen Only two roll of toilet paper for 6 days Only one trash bag Incorrect WiFi password in info book. Called emergency number to obtain access to wifi, it’s been 48 hours with no call back. Missing plates and coffee cups. My wife and I were interested in a home but it's just to expensive. You finance your home and pay the lot rent,insurance and utilities your up to $1800 to $2000 a month. It's a beautiful park but we just can't afford it. I wish we could. Don't get me wrong it's a beautiful park.
We wanted to be near Santa Rosa Beach but not have to deal with the crazy traffic and crowds all day, every day. Freeport was a great solution. Riverwalk Landing is still being built out and is a mixed community of RV sites (about 20 total), cottages, and large, lovely park model type homes for sale. There's tons of room for walking which we loved. The clubhouse is brand new with a large, nicely equipped workout room which thrilled us. Dawn, the property manager, was wonderful to work with.
